Family research

Connect to your roots with us!

Family Research is the simplest and most intuitive solution to discovering your Polish ancestry. This service was created for those who like clear, easy-to-understand results and transparent rules.

It is designed to help you find information about your Polish ancestors that is reliable and authentic. Our research is based on original documents that we can find using the information you provided. Of course, some records are not available online, but it is not an obstacle for us – we can access the documents that are in the state or church archives, we can visit the parish or contact polish institutions that can help us uncover the paper trail of your family’s life in Poland.

First steps: tell us about your ancestor

Fill out the form below with the information about your ancestor and once we receive it, we will contact you, discuss the goals and begin the analysis. This analysis will allow us to check whether any documents in archives and parishes are available for research (survived till today).

Get an estimate

If we find out that the research is possible, we will prepare a research plan and cost estimate. Genealogia Polonica highly values the individual approach to every case explored, so the offer will be tailored to your needs.

Order your research

Once you make your decision, you are one step closer to getting information on your ancestry. Our Family Research is divided into stages and performed step by step. Thanks to that it is more flexible allowing us to adjust to each step’s results and consider them while planning further steps of the research, which may lead us to different places and archives.

Get the results

After the research is completed, you will receive the results. If you pay in installments, you will be asked before to pay the second installment. After you will receive full results with the comprehensive report, the photos of the documents we have found. We will answer your research questions and can discuss future perspectives.

Please make sure that the address provided here is correct.
Try to include as much information as possible: first and last names, dates and places of birth and death, first and last names of spouses, religion. Every information may turn out very important during the research even if it seems irrelevant at the moment. If you don't have much information about that person or family, just write what you know.
